The Shire of Carnarvon proudly sponsors the annual Centurion Carnar-Fin Fishing Competition through the Community Growth Fund.
Carnar-Fin is an annual fishing competition open to all recreational anglers and has been held in the last week of May since its inception in 1992, incorporating the June long weekend.
Keen fishermen and women gather to test their skills for the Centurion Carnar-Fin Fishing Competition. Open to all recreational fishermen and women. With a prize pool of $25,000, prizes are awarded to the heaviest catch in each category.
If you aren't fishing, though you are keen to get amongst the anglers, pop down to the Carnarvon Yacht Club to see the daily catches.
