We are pleased to announce that the Camel Lane Theatre will be free for our Community over the summer school holidays after Council waived all entry fees for this period.  The program has been launched and included two movies in December, The Nutcracker and the Magic Flute and Arthur Christmas, which were a great success. The program for January has been launched and includes the following screenings:

  • Daisy Quokka – Wednesday, 4 January at 1pm
  • Ainbo – Amazon Princess – Monday, 9 January at 1pm
  • Black Panther – Wakanda Forever (Suitable for 15 years + only) – Saturday, 14 January at 1pm
  • Little Monsters – Friday, 20 January at 10am followed by Art and Craft session
  • Tad the Explorer – Monday, 23 January at 11am followed by Community Treasurer Hunt
  • Bran Nue Dae – Thursday, 26 January at 11am

“We hope that this free access will reduce the barriers for families and young people to enjoy one of our community assets, our Cinema” said Shire President Eddie Smith. With such a great program, we hope our community will come and enjoy the entertainment in air-conditioned comfort this summer” he added.

In addition to the free screenings at the Camel Lane Cinema, the Shire of Carnarvon is pleased to launch a fantastic program of activities to keep our young people engaged and happy. Click HERE to find out what’s happening in Carnarvon during School Holidays.
