Northwater Housing Development
Posted: 06/08/2025
The Shire of Carnarvon is progressing with the development of two new residential dwellings within the Northwater Estate to support housing availability in the region. Located in the Stage 4 release of the estate, the project is focused on increasing rental housing options for Carnarvon’s local workforce.
With the rising demand for quality accommodation, particularly for workers and key service providers, the development aims to ease housing pressures and contribute to attracting and retaining skilled professionals in the region.
Project Scope
The project involves the full design and construction of two modern 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom homes. Once completed, the properties will be made available on the public rental market, helping to grow the town’s livability and support population retention and economic activity.
Funding & Support
This $1.36 million project is jointly supported through the Regional Economic Development (RED) Grant Program, facilitated by the Gascoyne Development Commission (GDC), with works being delivered by Northern Aspect Construction.
