TECH HELP

As new digital technologies continue to be introduced into our everyday lives, we want to make sure that no one is left behind. If you are having a particular problem with a device, e-Resource, or there is a tech concept that is confusing you, talk to library staff about our Tech Help program. These half-hour or hour-long one-on-one sessions are normally held on a Friday by appointment only.

Please note that not all tech issues are within our scope of service, and library staff may guide you to external online websites and/or other resources if it is more appropriate for your enquiry. Throughout the year, we also hold group workshops on tech topics, so keep an eye on our Library Events page.

APRIL-MAY: AUSTRALIAN HERITAGE FESTIVAL

The Australian Heritage Festival is an annual community-driven event that connects country by immersing you into the rich and diverse heritage our country has to offer. For more than 40 years, Western Australians have taken part by hosting special exhibitions, tours, talks, workshops, food fairs, ceremonies, demonstrations, dining events, interactive displays and so much more. Each and every event a wonderful interpretation of heritage and culture from around our great state. In Western Australia, the festival is both a celebration and reflection on the natural and cultural heritage of the state, taking place during April and May each year.

In April and May 2025, the festival returned with the theme Unearthed – revealing the past, bringing to light lesser-known histories and stories, and unearthing knowledge to empower younger generations as custodians of culture and tradition.
