The Shire of Carnarvon is proud to present an inspiring LGBTQIA+ youth project this spring school holidays at the Community Art Hub. Through creative workshops and drop-in sessions, young people aged 12–25 will have the opportunity to share their stories, design personal flags, and contribute to a powerful statewide artwork that celebrates diversity, pride, and unity.

The Shire of Carnarvon is seeking Expressions of Interest from local and visiting artists to lead paid creative workshops for its new Friday Night Art Club. Share your skills in any medium with the community by submitting your workshop idea and quote.

Stitched and Bound is a biennial, juried exhibition showcasing the innovative range of current work being produced by Western Australian artists. Entrants are encouraged to challenge the usual concept of the ‘quilt’ and to push the boundaries of the medium. The next exhibition will be shown in Perth in May – June 2026 followed by a regional tour to other WA galleries. The tour will run until early 2027.

We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from First Nations digital artists to create an original artwork for YMAC’s 2026–2030 Strategic Plan. The commissioned piece will visually complement the plan and help communicate its vision, values, and community-driven goals.
