MAYU-MIA YOUTH HUB 

The Shire of Carnarvon operates Mayu-Mia Youth Hub, our facility offers a large range of youth-oriented programs, workshops, events and activities every week and throughout the year. Featuring a multi-purpose building, the youth hub is a youth-friendly zone and a safe place where young people can develop new skills, enhance existing abilities and socialise with peers.

Our youth staff are responsible for the safety and wellbeing of members whilst they are participating in Youth Services activities and ensuring young people have support available if required. Our youth staff work closely with other youth support agencies whose core service is providing individualised support for young people, for a range of needs. Our youth staff also support NGALA,  the Stephen Michael Foundation with sporting events and PCYC with Safe Space on Friday nights.
