Reference

Our collection is situated together in one convenient location with standard references like encyclopedias, handbooks, and dictionaries that will provide answers to questions on any topic in any field of research. It is called a Reference Collection because its use is limited to in‐library use, and these items cannot be borrowed like regular library material. our library has a small Reference collection

Ukuleles

Professionally trained musician, WAAPA graduate, and Carnarvon local Adam B. Harris generously donated two ukulele kits to the Shire of Carnarvon Library & Art Gallery for World Ukulele Day 2023. Each kit contains a ukulele, a ukulele stand, and a digital tuner. Adam also donated two beginner’s ‘how-to’ guide books to the library collection.

All of these can be borrowed for free using your library membership. Equally, you could arrange a time to try out the ukulele in the Library Lounge either alone or with friends.

For enquiries about borrowing one of the ukulele kits, contact the Library Team for more details.
