creative program GAA26

A vibrant season of connection and creativity awaits!

Running alongside the Gascoyne Art Awards 2026 exhibition at the Shire of Carnarvon Library and Art Gallery, our carefully curated Creative Program brings art to life with enriching experiences for all ages.

This year, the gallery comes alive with meaningful opportunities to celebrate the Awards and connect with the artists and their work.

Hands-On Workshops with Exhibiting Artists and Interactive Art Gallery Activations.

Engaging with art doesn't stop at the workshops. Throughout the exhibition, visitors can enjoy three new interactive activities: Chatterbox, Behind the Frame, Art Detective Trail

Launching at the Open Day on 4 July, these are free for drop-in visitors to enjoy at their own pace, and groups can book a guided tour for a more in-depth experience.

The artistic spirit will also weave through the library's regular programming, making the Shire of Carnarvon Library and Art Gallery the ultimate creative hub this season.

Drop in, get inspired, and experience one of the Gascoyne's longest-running and most beloved Art Awards!
