Celebrating Culture & Creativity in the Gascoyne
Presented by the Shire of Carnarvon, the Gascoyne Art Awards 2026 (GAA26) returns this July as a premier showcase of Western Australian talent. Building on a proud legacy established by the Gascoyne Arts Society in 1984, this biennial event transforms the Shire of Carnarvon Library & Art Gallery into a hub of connection and culture.
Open to all WA artists aged 16+, the exhibition features diverse works across six categories, from painting to sculpture. Join us for the free, eight-week exhibition starting 3 July 2026, explore the thriving local arts scene, and support artists by purchasing original works. The event concludes with a special closing ceremony featuring the People's Choice Award.
