The Shire of Carnarvon’s draft Local Planning Strategy is available for public comment – Get Involved Now

The Shire’s Local Planning Strategy will guide the long-term land use planning, development, and management of the region for the next 15 years.

You can view the draft Local Planning Strategy between 18 March 2026 and 15 April 2026 at the following locations:

 

• Online at https://www.carnarvon.wa.gov.au/consultations/
• Hard copy at the Shire’s Administration office, 3 Francis Street, Carnarvon
• Hard copy at the Shire’s Library and Art Gallery, 18 Egan Street, Carnarvon

 

To learn more about the draft Local Planning Strategy, an online information session will be held on Wednesday 1st April 2026, between 5:30-6:30pm. If you are interested in attending, please register your details at planner@carnarvon.wa.gov.au  and our team will send through the online meeting details.

 

Submissions are to be made in writing, mailed or emailed to the Shire of Carnarvon by 15 April 2026.
