Blowholes Camp Hosts - Volunteer Position
Department: |
Community Planning & Sustainability |
Reports to: |
Coordinator Community Safety |
We are currently seeking Camp Hosts from 30 September 2025 onwards.
Blowholes Eco Camping, in the remote outback Gascoyne region of Western Australia, offers an ideal stop over between the Shark Bay World Heritage and Ningaloo Reef.
Step into a place where the ocean roars, the land speaks, and the sky stretches endlessly above. Just 75 km north of Carnarvon lies the iconic Carnarvon Blowholes – a raw, untamed natural wonder that delivers drama, beauty, and peace in equal measure. Here, powerful jets of seawater surge from the ancient reef with thunderous force, thrilling visitors and reminding us just how alive the earth truly is.
But there’s more than just the blowholes.
Explore crystal-clear rock pools teeming with marine life. Snorkel in the calm, vibrant “Aquarium” lagoon. Witness migrating whales breaching on the horizon. Sit under the stars in quiet wonder and connect with the cultural heartbeat of the region – the land of the Baiyungu and Yinggarda people – who have cared for this coastline for millennia.
This is not your average camping trip. This is where you come to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with something far greater.
Carnarvon Blowholes: Where nature doesn’t just impress – it humbles, heals, and takes your breath away.
