Stitched and Bound
Saturday 27th February 2027
Contemporary quilt art from Western Australia
Stitched and Bound is coming to Carnarvon. This biennial exhibition showcases the innovative range of work being produced by Western Australian artists who challenge the usual concept of the 'quilt' medium.
Artists are encouraged to work outside the quilt format and push the boundaries of the medium, focusing on making personal statements through unconventional materials, ideas and techniques. Selected on artistic merit, innovation and standard of design and execution, the 30–50 works on show are chosen by three independent jurors.
Expect the unexpected, this is quilting untethered from tradition.
