We Can Together: Men's Stories Through Art
Our latest Nook Exhibition opened on Tuesday at the Carnarvon Library & Art Gallery.
Carmen and Cam from GRAMS spoke beautifully about the We Can Together program and the stories behind the artworks, including how some of the paintings evolved over time, mirroring the personal growth the men made along their journey. Their words created a genuine, respectful "yarning circle" feel.
It was an intimate gathering, which made it feel even more special. Delicious sandwiches and good company rounded out a lovely midday event.
The exhibition is now open for the community to experience. Come down, take your time with the artworks and the men's Personal Journey stories, and try the hands-on activity, where you can draw what an equal relationship looks like to you.
