Leanne Gillham's debut solo exhibition draws a crowd and celebrates a decade of creative evolution
 |
The official opening of Art with Gills -the latest Nook exhibition in the Library & Art Gallery - last Friday afternoon was nothing short of a triumph. Guests packed the gallery from the moment doors opened, filling the space with energy, conversation, and a genuine appreciation for the work of Western Australian artist Leanne Gillham.
The afternoon featured a series of heartfelt speeches celebrating Leanne's remarkable journey as an artist. Her passion for the ocean, the outdoors, and the creative process was evident in every piece on display, and it clearly resonated with all who attended.
We are also delighted to share that several works found new homes on opening day - a wonderful testament to the connection Leanne's art creates with its audience. Congratulations to Leanne and to the proud new owners.
