“Carnarvon All Abilities Festival” for International Day of People with a Disability – EOI for Project Team
The Shire of Carnarvon is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to co-create a meaningful, inclusive community event for International Day of People with a Disability on 3 December 2025 (or in the surrounding week).
Interested in event management? Want to get a bit of experience in project management? Have a connection or passion for, inclusion and accessibility? Happy to share your time, skills and ideas?!
The first planning meeting is scheduled for Monday 13 October (12-2pm), Community Art Hub.
We’ll throw ideas on the table, decide together, and make it happen. It could be anything.
THINK:
- A cool night with music, art, dinner and socialising
- An interesting guest speaker event for everyone to learn from
- A talent show
- Storytelling night
- A special cinema screening
Commitment:
- Attend three planning meetings in the lead-up to the event
- First meeting: Monday 13 October (12-2pm), Community Art Hub
- Participate in active delivery on event day/night.
