Carnarvon proudly welcomed tourism leaders, operators, businesses and industry professionals from across the State as host of the WA Tourism Conference 2026.
Over three days, delegates experienced the very best of Carnarvon and Coral Bay through industry showcases, cultural experiences, local tours, networking events and conference sessions focused on the future of tourism in Western Australia.
Highlights included a spectacular sundowner at Quobba Station, the Conference Awards Dinner beneath the iconic satellite dish at the Carnarvon Space and Technology Museum, recognition of Carnarvon with Silver in the Small Tourism Town Awards, and tours showcasing major local projects and businesses helping shape the region's future.
The conference also created valuable opportunities for local businesses, tourism operators, volunteers, students and community groups to showcase the region while delivering economic benefits across accommodation, hospitality, retail and tourism sectors.
The Shire of Carnarvon extends its sincere thanks to all businesses, volunteers, Traditional Owners, sponsors, tourism operators, community groups, performers and community members who helped make the event a success.
