Project Updates
The Robinson Street public art installations are now complete.
New seating and sandblasted artworks can now be found outside the Civic Centre and Gascoyne Bakery, delivered as part of the Shire’s Local Connect & Create project.
Each piece features designs by artist Peta Riley, with seating elements incorporating timber from the historic One Mile Jetty, bringing a piece of Carnarvon’s history into everyday community spaces.
Designed for both function and storytelling, these installations create places for people to sit, pause and enjoy the town centre.
This project was made possible thanks to the support from Lotterywest.
Thank you to W&C Co. Mechanical and Civil and local carpenter Stuart Parker.
