Beautiful Streets
The Shire of Carnarvon is excited to launch Round 10 of the popular Litter Legends initiative, a community-led program that combines gentle exercise with volunteering to keep the town looking its best.
Delivered by dedicated Shire volunteers Wayne and Jeanette Taylor, the program invites locals and visitors to take part in simple, one-off micro-volunteering sessions. Participants can enjoy 30 minutes of movement plus 30 minutes of volunteering, boosting both physical and emotional wellbeing while helping to create a cleaner, more beautiful Carnarvon.
How it works:
- The Mission: 30 minutes of tidying up around town from 8:30–9am
- The Gear: All litter collection equipment provided – just wear enclosed shoes
- The Reward: Stay for a coffee or take a $7 voucher to go from local cafes
Sessions run every Friday at 8:30am with community legends Wayne and Jeanette Taylor.
