We are thrilled to announce the Regional Aboriginal Arts Development grant program! If you are an Aboriginal artist, cultural worker, or part of a regional arts organisation in Western Australia, this is a fantastic opportunity to bring your creative and business visions to life.
This program is specifically designed to support the incredible talent in regional and remote WA, helping to showcase unique stories, engage diverse audiences, and build sustainable arts businesses.
 
 

Two Categories Available

Category
What It Supports
Up To
Creative Development
New, large-scale Aboriginal artworks - dance, music, theatre, visual arts, writing and more
$150,000
Business Development & Capacity Building
Strategic planning, skills training, professional development and organisational growth
$50,000

Who Can Apply?

Creative Development - WA-based Aboriginal artists, performers, storytellers, producers, writers, and arts organisations. The artists must be based in regional or remote WA.
Business Development -  Aboriginal arts and cultural organisations based in regional WA.
You can request up to 80% of your total project costs -  you'll need to show at least 20% income from other sources (including in-kind contributions).

Key Upcoming Dates

April 2025 Round
Opens: 9:00am, 15 April 2025
Draft Review Deadline: 4:00pm, 8 May 2025
Closes: 4:00pm, 22 May 2025
Projects Begin: 1 September 2025
