Shire of Carnarvon Secures Funding for Seniors Week Celebration

The Shire of Carnarvon is excited to announce that it has successfully received $3,000 in grant funding through Advocare, supported by the Department of Communities and Lotterywest, to celebrate Seniors Week 2025.

Running from Monday, 10 November to Friday, 14 November, this year’s celebrations embrace the theme “Seniors in the Spotlight”, recognising the invaluable contributions seniors make to our community.

The Shire has put together a jam-packed program designed to offer fun, connection, and celebration for everyone. Activities include health and wellness workshops with Juneve Wellness, board games, the annual Sundowner at Kestrel Café, and the week will conclude with a relaxing movie session to wind down the festivities.

This week is all about shining a light on our wonderful seniors. We want to celebrate their achievements, encourage social connection, and provide opportunities for fun and relaxation.
