Partial Pathway Closure - Van Dongen Park Project

The Shire of Carnarvon advises that the pathway within the future Van Dongen Park project site will be partially closed from Thursday 9th July 2026, when temporary fencing will be installed to establish the construction site.

This fencing is being erected to ensure the safety of pathway users and the public as works commence on this exciting new community space. The footpath to the perimeter of the park will remain accessible by the public during the construction period. 

The Shire appreciates the community's patience and cooperation during these temporary works. We are excited to see construction of the "Big Banana Playground" get underway and look forward to delivering a vibrant new recreational space for residents and visitors.
