Shire of Carnarvon - Local Government Election 2026 - Close of Enrolments

The Close of Enrolments Notice is published in accordance with section 1.7 & 4.39 of the Local Government Act 1995 and section 2A (2) of the Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996.
An election will be held for the Shire of Carnarvon on Saturday 3 December 2026.
Enrolment closes at 5.00pm on Wednesday 7 October 2026.
Electors enrolled for State and Commonwealth elections at an address within the district are automatically enrolled for local government elections. If you have moved or are not yet enrolled, you should enrol or update your details with the Western Australian Electoral Commission at before the close of enrolments.
Owners and occupiers of rateable property within the district who do not reside here may be eligible to enrol through the Shire. An eligibility claim form is available from the Shire Administration Building or by contacting the Shire.
