Upcoming Road Construction Works: Speedway Road

NOTICE OF UPCOMING ROAD CONSTRUCTION WORKS- SPEEDWAY ROAD

The Shire of Carnarvon would like to inform residents that it has received funding through the Main Roads WA Black Spot Program to undertake road safety improvement works on Speedway Road, adjacent to the Browns Range Waste Facility, Carnarvon.

Construction works are scheduled to commence on 5th October 2026 and are expected to be completed by 30 December 2026.

During this period, residents may experience increased movements of construction vehicles and machinery, including trucks, loaders, and other heavy equipment associated with the project works.

To ensure the safety of all road users and construction personnel, the Shire requests that residents minimise the use of this section of Speedway Road where possible and exercise caution when travelling through the area.

The Shire apologises for any inconvenience these works may cause and appreciates your patience and cooperation while these important road safety improvements are undertaken.
