In accordance with section 5.25(1)(g) of the Local Government Act 1995 and regulation 12(3) of the Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996, the Shire of Carnarvon advises that Council has approved at the 28 July 2026 Ordinary Meeting of Council, amendments to the following meetings:

Council has approved a trial change to the commencement time of Ordinary Council Meetings from 10.00am to 5.30pm for the following meetings:

In accordance with section 5.25(1)(g) of the Local Government Act 1995 and regulation 12(3) of the Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996, the Shire of Carnarvon advises that, pursuant to Council Resolution SCM 03/06/2026, the Ordinary Council Meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, 23 June 2026 has been rescheduled to 30 June 2026 at 2pm.

In accordance with Regulation 12(3) of the Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996, notice is given that the Ordinary Council Meeting scheduled for Thursday, 28 May 2026, to be held in Coral Bay, has been cancelled.

Any rescheduled meeting dates will be provided as soon as practicable, pending further advice from the Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety (LGIRS).

A Special Council Meeting will be held on Wednesday, 15 April at 4:00pm in the Council Chambers.

The meeting will consider a confidential employee matter, and as such, this item will be discussed behind closed doors in accordance with the Local Government Act.

Agenda Briefing for the rescheduled June OCM has been scheduled for Tuesday, 23 June 2026 at 03.00pm to be held in Council Chambers.

The Agenda Briefing meeting scheduled for Tuesday, 19 May 2026 has been cancelled.

Any rescheduled meeting dates will be provided as soon as practicable, pending further advice from the Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety (LGIRS).
