Local Contractors have completed maintenance and renewal works on the toilet facilities located at Town Beach so we are pleased to advise that this important community facility is now re-opened.
In recognition of the importance of looking after our assets, the works have included upgraded lighting, refurbished plumbing and replacement Colorbond interior & exterior cladding.
These works complete the overall upgrade to the Town Beach since January, with the addition of hand-crafted seating around the playground and the installation of shade sails during February over the playground and kiosk.
Improved amenities for Town beach users have been funded by the Federal Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program and the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation in the lead up to the Total Solar Eclipse next month!
