Proposed Road Dedications and Closures in Carnarvon

Notice is hereby given that the Shire of Carnarvon proposes to dedicate the following crown land as roads:

• Lots 582 & 591 on DP419180
• Lots 588 & 589 on DP 418942
• Lot 506 on DP 420949
• Lots 9114, 9117, 9120 and 9123 on DP 418941
• Lots 9168, 9171 and 9174 on DP 425264

The Shire of Carnarvon also proposes to close disused sections of the Carnarvon – Mullewa Road, Inggarda and the North West Coastal Highway, Brown Range. The sections of road reserves listed below became redundant when the Carnarvon – Mullewa Road and the North West Coastal Highway were each realigned over two decades ago.

• Lot 583 on DP 419180 formerly Carnarvon – Mullewa Road, Inggarda
• Lot 584 on DP 418942 formerly Carnarvon – Mullewa Road, Inggarda
• Lot 508 and 509 on DP 420949 formerly NW Coastal Highway, Brown Range

The Council has resolved to advertise the proposed road dedications and closures for public comment for a minimum of 35 days in accordance with Section 58(3) of the Land Administration Act 1997.

The proposed road dedications and closures are available for inspection to provide an opportunity to comment.

Details of the above are available for inspection at the Shire of Carnarvon Administration Office, 3 Francis Street Carnarvon, and are also available on the Shire’s website under Public Notices: Notice of Proposed Road Dedications & Road Closures.

Comments on the above proposals may be submitted to the Local Government in writing on
or before 4:00 pm 12 June 2024. Comments can be:
