Tell us what your project is all about and what you hope to achieve.
Start by sharing the big idea behind your project - what you’re trying to do and why it’s important. Think about the purpose and the difference it could make.
Then, talk about the results you’re aiming for. What will change or improve because of your project? Try to include things you can measure like how many people will be involved or what kind of impact you expect.
If your project brings the community together or has benefits that will last beyond the project, make sure to mention that too.
Feel free to include examples or targets to help explain your plans. Keep it clear, focused, and in line with what the funding is looking for.
List the organisations and businesses who will benefit from the funding
Tell us which local groups, clubs, or businesses will be involved in your project and how they will be supported or play a role. This could include helping to run the event, providing supplies, offering a venue, or receiving direct benefits from the project.
Example:
Please list all the expenses you’re including in your grant application. Make sure your total adds up to the amount you’re requesting. For each item, let us know who the supplier is (if known), the cost, and whether it can be sourced locally. This helps us understand how the funding supports local businesses and the community.
Please ensure all documents requested are attached to the application. Any application that is incomplete and does not have relevant documents attached will not be considered.
