The July school holidays are just around the corner, and the Carnarvon community is in for a treat! The Shire of Carnarvon is delighted to announce an action-packed program that promises to keep kids of all ages entertained and engaged throughout the holiday break. From thrilling circus workshops to innovative robotics workshops, captivating dance sessions, thrilling basketball experiences, and a Dodgeball tournament like no other, Carnarvon has something for everyone!
Circus is back due to popular demand, with sessions suitable for children aged 4 to 18 years old. Prepare to be amazed as talented acrobats and performers showcase their incredible skills. Learn from thrilling aerial acts, as they teach you all circus tricks to be the next stunt master.
In collaboration with Red Dirt Robotics, the Shire of Carnarvon Library and Art Gallery will be hosting 3D printing and robotic workshops. Young innovators will have the opportunity to explore the world of robotics, learn how to design and print their creations using cutting-edge technology, and gain invaluable insights into the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. It's an exciting chance for kids to unleash their creativity and delve into the wonders of robotics!
For those who love to move to the rhythm, our dance workshops are not to be missed. Led by talented instructors, these interactive sessions will have participants grooving to the latest beats and learning new dance moves. From hip-hop to contemporary styles, this is an excellent opportunity for kids to express themselves and discover the joy of dance.
Sports enthusiasts will be thrilled to know that we have basketball sessions lined up, where you can improve their skills and learn valuable teamwork lessons. Whether they're aiming to become the next basketball star or simply looking to have a great time on the court, these sessions are fun for all with BBQ to celebrate team efforts.
As part of their Northwest Tour, the renowned Dodgy Bros Dodgeball team will be bringing their high-energy dodgeball tournament to Carnarvon. Get ready to duck, dive, and dodge as you compete against friends and rivals in an exhilarating dodgeball showdown. It's an event that promises laughter, friendly competition, and lots of unforgettable memories.

The Shire is able to deliver the School Holiday Program through its own source funding with complementary funding from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries and in partnership with Carnarvon PCYC, NGALA and other service providers.
