Expression of Interest (EOI) for Catering Services

The Shire of Carnarvon is pleased to invite hospitality businesses in Carnarvon the opportunity to cater for the annual National Volunteer Week Awards Ceremony.

Event Details:
Event Name: National Volunteer Awards Ceremony
Date: Tuesday, 21 May
Time: 6pm to 8pm
Venue: Carnarvon Yacht Club
Expected Attendance: 200 people

Catering Requirements:
- Budget: $20 per person
- Service Time: Tables to be serviced by 6.30pm
- Service Type: Platters of food (share plates)
- Table Arrangement: Food delivered to tables of 8
- Tableware: Bamboo platters provided by the Shire (up to 2 platters per table)

Menu Preferences:
Platters should include a filling selection from the following options:
- Bread with savoury spread
- Antipasto platters
- Gourmet sliders or sandwiches
- Savoury bite-size items
- Fresh fruit and sweet
-Inclusion of items which are vegetarian and gluten free

Additional Information:
- The caterer will have access to the Yacht Club kitchen for food preparation on Tuesday, 21 May only.
- Hot food options should be avoided due to the nature of the food service. The platters to each table is to avoid disruption to the awards ceremony.
- Each table can accommodate up to 2 palm leaf platters (30cm W × 55cm L).

Submission Guidelines:
Interested catering services are invited to submit their proposals by Monday, 6 May. Submissions should include:
- Proposed menu with the number of items per platter. This will be reviewed and potential changes may be negotiated. Once approved, the Shire will be producing menus for tables.
- Pricing breakdown within the budget of $20 per person.
- Delivery and service plan, ensuring tables are serviced by 6.30pm.
