The Girls Group, in partnership with the talented Tay from Meraki Boho, is on a mission to revitalise our public spaces. Through the 'The Future is Me' program, an initiative developed by the Shire and supported by the Department of Justice, we're thrilled to showcase the progress of the new mural on Egan Street.

Together, we're embarking on an inspiring journey alongside youth to adorn our public spaces with vibrant art! This collaboration extends beyond the creation of murals; it's about empowering youth, nurturing creativity, and fostering a sense of community ownership.

The mural is part of a larger revitalisation project of Egan Street, sparking excitement as youth and community members unite to leave their mark on our streets over the next couple of months. This initiative has formed part of the Shire’s 'Beautiful Streets: 6701’ initiative, a broader vision outlined in the Strategic Community Plan.

Stay tuned for updates on the project!
