Works commence Tuesday 31 January on Stage One of the Skate Park refurbishment. The works include removing existing park furniture to allow access for concrete works and upgrades to furniture.
Stage Two, being the repainting of the Skate Park, will commence in coming months – exact dates will be advertised.
Future stages, funded by Lotterywest include refurbished basketball courts, and a pump track installation across the road in Hutchinson Park will result in a fully refurbished “Youth Precinct”.
Safety barriers will be in place whilst works are underway, with the skate park itself still open for use.
