PULSE OXIMETERS

Pulse Oximeters Available Now - Are You Eligible?

What is a pulse oximeter?

They are a non-invasive, handheld device that measures a person’s blood oxygen level and heart rate.

Pulse oximeters are used to assist with care of people with Covid-19 in their own home.

With the support of the Department of Health, the Shire has a stock of pulse oximeters available free of change for eligible members of the community.

To check your eligibility, answer these questions:

  • Are you non-Aboriginal and over 65?
  • Are you Aboriginal and over 50?
  • Are you pregnant?

If you answered YES to any of the above, collect your free pulse oximeter from the Shire main office or our Carnarvon Library.
